X-MEN FILMS Formerly a student and now a teacher at the Xavier School for Gifted Youngsters, Scott Summers helps shepherd the younger generations of mutants, instructing them as he'd been in how to control and harness their fantastic powers and how to do more than get by in a world that so often hates and fears them-- to thrive. He protects that world, and the people in it, mutant and human alike, as the X-Man called Cyclops, named after the devastatingly powerful beams of concussive force he emits from his eyes. Calm and reseved, more often than not, Scott is mistaken for someone dispassionate and dull. With the weight of leadership squarely on his shoulders from his teen years, and burdened with a powerful ability that he can only control with the greatest of concentration and discipline, he has grown to become outwardly quiet in order to rein in the explosive energy inside of him. |
This version of Scott is set as much as possible in the revised X-film timeline that follows Days of Future Past and Apocalypse, with a canon point more or less at the flash forward at the end of DOFP, but is very flexible. Parts of his history may be filled in with comic canon when needed. I can play in action or prose, past or present tense, as needed. I'm not the fastest tagger, but will happily backtag a thread forever, so don't worry when RL gets in the way. Mun and muse are 21+ Scott belongs to Marvel and Fox Entertainment, James Marsden is his own person, and I lay claim to neither. |
